Lost in a sea of vintage guitars, bright serapes, and tequila barrels, I found myself in a New York spot that felt more Baja than Big Apple. The indoor/outdoor lounge boasted stunning river views, while the beach setup was perfect for any gathering. Honoring its maritime roots, the property surprised with a glass-bottom pool. The veg-forward menu was a hit, and the rooftop left me breathless. A stay here? Pure magic. And trust me, I know magic… I'm still trying to find the right spell to make my plants thrive!

I had a fantastic stay at Dream Downtown! We were on a busy family trip and were a bit hesitant after reading mixed reviews, but Mallory and the team were incredibly responsive and helpful in addressing our concerns. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and the facilities were top-notch. The location in Chelsea/Meatpacking district was perfect, with great restaurants and markets nearby. The pool was a highlight, especially for the kids, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at this place! The hotel was located in a great neighborhood for NYC nightlife - it was just above the nightly entertainment and surrounded by the best restaurants and nightclubs. The staff was very helpful and answered every request with great care and eagerness. The service room service was quick, and the terrace was a perfect place to relax and enjoy our meals.

We had an amazing experience at Dream. The service was superb and the hotel is beautifully decorated, with a special touch in every piece of furniture and light. Our queen room, though small, offered a marvelous view and was fully equipped. The hotel has a lively atmosphere, but it doesn't disturb the peace in the room. The shower room was great and the location was perfect for our uptown and downtown travels. a great stay with a nice vibe.

Upon arrival to this hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and comfortable bed. The location was great for exploring the surrounding area. Although there were some minor issues with the amenities, such as the lack of tea and coffee making facilities, the overall stay was enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was good, perfect location right off the subway, the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was cool and functional, had comfortable beds. It was cosy hotel and we had a very nice stay.

We stayed at Dream Downtown three years ago and it was fantastic. However, on our recent visit, the hotel had changed its concept without any mention of it. It is now just another party hotel and has lost its magic. It was disappointing to see this transformation.

From the moment we walked into Dream, we fell in love with the beautiful lobby filled with interesting people to watch. Lindsey made check-in super fast and easy, and she even gave us an amazing balcony room with stunning city views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the rain shower head in the bathroom was fantastic - strong flow and a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the doormen who greeted us with smiles even in the cold weather, to Jennifer who made check-out quick and easy. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and even a cute coffee shop on the property. We also enjoyed observing some entertaining people at the popular club on the top floor. we had a great time at Dream and it has become our new favorite hotel.

Funky place to stay whilst in New York.

Good value, room was brand-new, staff were exceptional. The pool was amazing and I had hot drinks in the roof top bar.

As foreign tourists, we loved the convenient location near subway stations and popular attractions like the High Line, Chelsea Market, and Meatpacking District. The hotel's cool design and art installations added to the overall experience. Having a pool to relax in after a long day of sightseeing was a great bonus.

We had a fantastic time at the rooftop night venue PHD, with its vibrant atmosphere and impressive music lineup – from the lively open format DJ set on Sundays to the cutting-edge underground electronic music on Mondays. The experience felt exclusive, and we thoroughly enjoyed the unique nightlife offerings.

My wife says that adding a few more family-friendly activities would have enhanced our stay even further.

The Lobster Place nearby is a gem for fresh seafood lovers. Plus, the welcoming staff, like Daniel, sprinkle Southern charm over every guest interaction, making you feel right at home in the bustling city.

Although the hotel brims with delicious treats, getting into the PHD rooftop bar comes with a twist. Despite assurances, the security team can be a bit cheeky, with some guests feeling left out of the party scene.

The indoor/outdoor lounge on the top floor left an unforgettable impression with its uninterrupted views of the Hudson River and Empire State Building. It felt like being on top of the world, with a cocktail in hand, enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of New York City.

Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception and room service, poolside snack bar, restaurant, fitness center, and more. Comfortable Rooms: Clean and comfortable rooms with great views. Family-friendly: Kids were welcome and well-catered for, with a baby float and pool toys provided. Easy Stay with a Baby: The hotel provided a kettle and crib, making it convenient for parents with a one-year-old. Local Attractions: Chelsea market and the High Line were right on the hotel's doorstep. Fun atmosphere: The hotel had a young and upbeat vibe, making for an enjoyable stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, ganz in der Nähe des Hafens und des Bahnhofs. Das Zimmer war schön und geräumig, mit einem eigenen Badezimmer, das eine schöne Dusche hatte. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber liebevoll gemacht, mit Obst und einer Auswahl an verpackten Lebensmitteln. Es gab auch einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer, was sehr praktisch war.

Bedauerlicherweise gab es kein WLAN im Hotel.

the hotel's location was amazing - right next to chelsea market and the meatpacking district. we loved being close to everything we wanted to explore in the city. the staff - especially mallory - were super responsive and helpful. they reassured us and kept us updated on changes - making our stay stress-free.

We chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation and I have to say the modern and hip vibe really stood out. The arty decorations throughout the building were a nice touch. The location was also a key factor for us, with great places to visit like Chelsea Market and the High Line just around the corner. Another advantage was the rooftop bar, which offered amazing views of the city.

I have to admit that our room was a bit disappointing. The lack of basic amenities like tea and coffee provision or complimentary water was a letdown.

Snacks in the mini-bar had sensors, which automatically charged us, a tip to avoid unexpected bills. a great stay with excellent service.
